Ben Bailey, founder and operator of Bailey Custom Builders is not your typical builder. Before founding Bailey Custom Builders, Ben worked in large-scale high production construction company building new homes in the Memphis area, where he was part of a team constructing over 500 homes annually. This high-volume, tract-style building gave him a solid foundation in efficiency and project management.
But Ben’s story didn’t stop there.
He later transitioned into more custom and high-end home building with another firm operating between Memphis and Nashville. In this role, he tackled projects that required attention to detail and creative solutions—homes that were designed one by one, with unique blueprints and custom finishes. Exposure to the diverse architectural styles and tastes in the Nashville market deepened his appreciation for design, personalization, and quality craftsmanship.
Bringing Custom Homes Back to Mississippi
When Ben returned to Mississippi, he realized the growing demand for custom homes—homes that reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client. With that knowledge in mind, Bailey Custom Builders was born, officially opening its doors in 2017. Starting with projects in the Flowood area, Bailey expanded into Madison and grew quickly from there, now serving many communities across the great Magnolia State.
